deadstock
Walk into the back of any textile factory and you'll find pallets and pallets of material no one's using. Over-orders. Cancelled lines. Most of it sits there until it gets thrown out.
This is called deadstock, and we go looking for it. We dig through what's there, check the specs, figure out what we can do with it. Only the good stuff makes it out – fabrics that can handle long miles, and years of wear.
Working this way has limits. We can't order a thousand metres of anything. Our colours come from whatever's on the pallet. Runs are small, and when a fabric's gone, it's gone.
For our first collection we've produced three deadstock colourways of our merino base layer. Same blend as our core merinos, with a special logo to signify the fabric's journey to you.
